On behalf of everyone at Homeward Bound Adirondacks, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every person who helped make Saturday’s Open House such a meaningful success.
As our Board President, Mark, shared during his remarks, it’s impossible to recognize everyone who has contributed to bringing this vision to life over the past five years—and beyond. This retreat exists because of the incredible generosity, hard work, and unwavering belief of so many people.
Whether you volunteered your time, donated materials or equipment, supported us financially, helped prepare for the event, or simply stood beside us and believed in our mission, you helped build something truly extraordinary for the Veterans and families we serve.
While the weather didn’t cooperate, the rain couldn’t diminish the spirit of the day. Seeing so many people gathered together made it clear just how special this retreat property is and the lasting impact it will have for generations of Veterans. It was a day filled with hope, community, and gratitude.
This accomplishment belongs to all of you. Thank you for investing your time, talents, resources, and encouragement into making this dream a reality.
