Attention North Country Property Owners! Do you own land with a bit of history—an old homestead, farmhouse, cellar hole, or similar site? Homeward Bound Adirondacks is seeking landowners who would be open to hosting a small group of veterans (up to 4 participants) for our “Signals 4 Vets” peer-to-peer program.
These guided, respectful metal detecting outings are designed to:
• Get veterans outdoors
• Reduce stress and isolation
• Foster connection through shared experiences
There’s something powerful about the unknown—every signal could reveal a small piece of history. That sense of discovery keeps veterans engaged, present, and connected.
What you can expect:
✔ Fully insured nonprofit organization
✔ Staffed with experienced guides and mental health professionals
✔ Respectful, low-impact visits with great care taken to protect your property
If you’re willing to share your land for a Signals 4 Vets outing—or would simply like to learn more—we would love to connect with you.
