April – Month of the Military Child — and it’s almost here!

Once again, the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services is rolling out an incredible lineup of FREE events just for children of Military and Veteran Families — and their parents or guardians too!

RSVPs are OPEN NOW for all events listed below and on the attached flyers. Space is limited, so please don’t wait to reserve your spot!

When you RSVP, please include:

• Total number of people attending

• Number of children

• Number of adults

April Event Highlights Include:

Museum of Innovation & Science (planetarium + pizza!)

Solar-Powered Buffalo Heritage Carousel (with breakfast!)

Behind-the-Scenes Tour of KeyBank Center (home of the Buffalo Sabres!)

The Strong National Museum of Play

LEGOLAND® New York

USS Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

Museum of Ice Cream (yes… unlimited samples!)

Heroes, Cowboys & Companions Farm

Ross Park Zoo (private guided tours + pizza & sundaes!)

Every Military Child who attends will receive:

• A special Month of the Military Child T-shirt

• A Month of the Military Child Proclamation signed by Governor Kathy Hochul
