We are proud to share that Homeward Bound Adirondacks has once again been awarded the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant (SSG Fox SPGP) by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This critical funding allows us to expand our mission of preventing Veteran suicide across the North Country. We will be focusing on non-clinical, peer-led, and innovative community approaches to serve eligible Veterans—especially those who are not yet connected to VA services or live in under-resourced areas.
“Prioritizing suicide prevention helps us establish a network of care capable of reaching vulnerable individuals and delivering the compassion and urgent support they need.” — Valerie Ainsworth
