Angie Terry

Administrative Assistant / Outreach Coordinator

Originally from Vermont, Angie relocated to New York in 2018. She first encountered Homeward Bound Adirondacks (HBA) in 2019 through her involvement with the local American Legion, where she was deeply inspired by the organization’s commitment to transforming veterans’ lives. Although not a veteran herself, Angie is a daughter of a US Army veteran and the wife of a US Air Force veteran.

Over the years, while maintaining her role as a Direct Support Professional at NYSARC, Angie continuously engaged with HBA, offering her support whenever possible. Her per diem work with HBA, starting in 2023, further deepened her appreciation for the organization’s mission and its significant impact. In 2025, Angie made a significant career shift, leaving her position at NYSARC to embrace a full-time role as an Administrative Assistant with HBA. This role allows her to fully dedicate herself to supporting veterans as they navigate the complexities of life post-service.

Outside of work, Angie cherishes time with her husband and their two children. She is also passionate about swimming, gardening, and floriculture, finding joy and relaxation in these pursuits.
