From Dec 7th, 2024, to Jan. 7th, 2025 – Essex County Health Department has seen three non-fatal overdoses and one fatal. “This is not how we wanted to kick of the new year.” Please help spread the word.

Addiction can happen to anyone, any family, at any time. The New York State 911 Good Samaritan Law allows people to call 911 without fear of arrest if they are having a drug overdose that requires emergency medical care or if they witness someone overdosing.
