Sorry, this is a Male only retreat. The retreat venue housing and bathroom facilities has limited us to make this a Male retreat only. A female only retreat is being scheduled for late fall or early winter at a venue to be announced.
This is a water access only retreat. Able bodies will be required to canoe/kayak over to the camp from the town of Raquette Lake (Approximately 1.25 miles each way). Those who are unable to paddle will have the option of taking a boat ride over and back. There will also be a boat available for safety and moving supplies.
St. Williams on Long Point, nestled on the serene Raquette Lake in the heart of the Adirondacks, offers a perfect retreat setting that combines rich history with natural beauty. Established in 1890, this Gothic Revival church now serves as a tranquil retreat center, accessible only by boat, enhancing its secluded charm. Surrounded by the pristine wilderness of the Adirondack Park, it provides a peaceful sanctuary for reflection and relaxation. The site’s stunning lake views and lush forests create an ideal backdrop for outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and wildlife observation. The natural beauty and serene environment of St. Williams make it an exceptional location for a retreat, offering participants a chance to rejuvenate and connect deeply with nature.
