HEAT FOR HEROES: Supporting Veterans This Winter

With the ongoing government shutdown and so many programs and subsidies nearly non-existent, veterans and their families in Northern New York are struggling to stay warm. Some are without heat entirely — others are fighting just to make ends meet.

At Homeward Bound Adirondacks, in partnership with United Way of the Adirondack Region, we’re stepping up to help. Our Heat for Heroes program provides emergency fuel assistance to veterans and their families across Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties.
